2019 Antioch Invite Line-Up

Wednesday, February 20 10:41:23 pm:

No official organized practice with the coaches on Saturday, February 23rd. Your event coaches will inform you about what you should get in over the weekend.

Monday, February 18 7:18:10 am:

We will have 2 buses on Friday for the Antioch Invite (change and meet at the H Entrance). All team members are invited to attend the meet. The first bus will be leaving at 2:45pm. Those athletes going on the first bus will not attend their 9th period class, they will be excused from that class. Make sure to talk with your teachers ahead of time about making up the work you will miss. The second bus will be leaving at 3:20pm. Those athletes in the following events will be taking the first bus at 2:45pm: Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, 4X800 Meter Relay, and 55 Meter Dash. Everyone else will take the 2nd bus at 3:20pm. Athletes will be informed by the coaches which events they will be competing in and the line-up will eventually be posted.

Tuesday, February 5 8:26:09 pm:

We ask that all track & field team members have competition shoes. All events except the throwers should get a pair of spikes with removable metal spikes. Throwers have a special competition shoe tha tdoes not have spikes. Fleet Feet in Deerfield or the New Balance Store in Highland Park are two great options. Also, Kiddles in Lake Forest or the Runner's Edge in Wilmette have good selections of spikes. You can also order online. First To The Finish is a good site for ordering.
