Tuesday, March 19 8:17:13 pm:

ALL boys track & field athletes need to make sure they are selling our track & field discount cards. The cards offer many great deals at local establishments. This fundraiser provides a vast majority of our budget. The money is used for equipment and uniform needs including new shots for the throwers, starting blocks for the sprinters/hurdlers, stopwatches, batons, replacement spikes, pole vault tips, replacement uniforms, and more. Please make every effort to sell as many cards as possible. If you did not receive a set of cards to sell please see Coach Buti BEFORE spring break to get them.

Tuesday, March 19 5:21:21 pm:

We were just informed that we will be having team pictures tomorrow (Wednesday, March 20th) at 3:45pm. All track & field team members must bring their uniforms to school for the pictures.

Monday, March 18 9:24:47 pm:

Sprinters, hurdlers, and jumpers will meet at Wolters for practice on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. Warm-up should begin by 3:35pm. There is an after school bus that takes athletes to Wolters at 3:15pm.

Make sure to dress appropriately (sweatshirt, sweatpants/tights, hat, and gloves). It is better to have extra layers.

Track & Field team members and fans can order their HPHS track & field gear now! Go to our online store today! ALL team members are expected to have the navy blue hoodie and sweat pants and/or the warm-up jacket and pants. All other gear is optional. We hope that everyone on the team will order some extra gear to show their pride in being part of the program! Family and friends are welcome to show their support and order gear to wear as well.

Tuesday, February 5 8:26:09 pm:

We ask that all track & field team members have competition shoes. All events except the throwers should get a pair of spikes with removable metal spikes. Throwers have a special competition shoe tha tdoes not have spikes. Fleet Feet in Deerfield or the New Balance Store in Highland Park are two great options. Also, Kiddles in Lake Forest or the Runner's Edge in Wilmette have good selections of spikes. You can also order online. First To The Finish is a good site for ordering. http://www.firsttothefinish.com/
