2022 CSL Conference Championship Meet

Saturday, October 15, 2022

Place: Glenbrook North High School 2300 Shermer Rd Northbrook, IL 60062

Timeline: There will be a coach’s meeting at 8:00 in the packet pickup location in the white shed near the entrance to the outdoor track.

All races will start on the half hour according to conference guidelines.

8:30 a.m. Open Girls (Unlimited) 2 miles

9:00 Freshman Boys (Unlimited) 2 miles

9:30 Varsity Girls (7 runners) 3 miles

10:00 Varsity Boys (7 runners) 3 miles

10:30 JV Girls (Unlimited) 3 miles

11:00 Sophomore Boys (Unlimited) 3 miles

11:30 Frosh/Soph Girls (Unlimited) 3 miles

12:00 JV Boys (Unlimited) 3 miles

There will be an awards ceremony at the outdoor track after the results from the final race are tallied. Please have your athletes sit in the stands along the home stretch.

Course: The course is on the athletic fields behind Glenbrook North High School. The course terrain consists of grass, gravel, a small amount of pavement, and the outdoor track for the finish. Each loop is just over 1 mile, therefore the two mile course is two loops and the three mile course is three loops. On the final loop runners will cut in as indicated on the map and finish on the track. Please note: Only Coaches will be allowed on the track, non-competing athletes and spectators must remain in the stands. To maintain favorable course conditions, the course WILL NOT be open for practice prior to the conference meet.

Dogs: Per the Cook County Animal Control Ordinance, Section 10-10 section B- Animals, except service animals, shall not be present at or upon any school premises, public playground or public swimming pool unless official written permission has been granted by the public agency. Pets are not allowed on the premises of any Glenbrook North outdoor or indoor facility. Persons with dogs (or other animals) will be asked to leave the school premises.
