Be at the H entrance by 7:05am for the buses to the meet on Saturday, February 17th.  Make sure to bring a sack lunch and some healthy snacks to the meet. Also, you need to have a refillable water bottle.

2024 Indoor Meet of Champions

Welcome to the 2024 Indoor Meet of Champions!

Hosted by Hope Academy of Chicago, Chicago Speed and Fleet Feet Chicago.

Meet Information: 

Admission Fee

Spectators tickets will be sold online and at the venue. 

Tickets are non-refundable and $15 per day.

Spike Policy

The only spikes allowed at this meet are 1/4 pyramid spikes. Spikes can only be worn on the track. You will not be allowed to go into the stands or other areas of the facility with spikes on.

Concessions:

There is a concession stand located near the entrance on the Worrill center.  

 

Check In/Clerking: An athlete must report to the clerking area at the Northeast corner of the track once their event is called. Once there, the athlete will get two hip numbers. The hip numbers must be worn on the left hip and the left chest. Clerks will give you instructions and lead you to the track.  If you are not with the clerk when your event is being brought out to the track, you will not compete.

High School Meet

Each school can enter 3 athletes in an event per gender
1 Relays per school per level
Levels: Varsity and Fr/So

Field events: 9:00 AM Start

Field Events

Due to participation numbers, we will have the triple jump compete first, followed by the long jump. This is a change from what was originally posted.

Shot Put, Long Jump, and Triple Jump- 3 attempts, no finals.  Events will run by flight and in order.  NO CAFETERIA STYLE. If an athlete has a running event, they must chack out with the official.

High Jump- The high jump will begin after the conclusion of the 60 meter dash.  There is one pit for boys and one pit for girls.  Frosh soph will compete first followed by varsity.

Starting Heights-

High Jump (5 cm incriments)

FS Girls- 1.27 meters

FS Boys- 1.37 meters

Var Girls- 1.32 meters

Var Boys- 1.42 meters

Pole Vault (15 cm incriments)- Varsity girls first, FS and Varsity boys together afterwards.

FS Boys- 1.88 meters

Var Boys- 2.28 meters

Var Girls- 2.28 meters

Running events

The Girls FS and Varsity 3200 will be combined and will run after the FS Boys 3200.

The hurdles will run -FS Girls, Varsity Girls, FS Boys, Varsity Boys in that order.

One run out only.  Athletes will set their blocks at the start line and will only get one run out.  This is done to keep the meet moving.

At the conclusion of their event, athletes will exit the track at the northwest corner.

Girls then boys for all events

Triple Jump (Same as Long Jump)

High Jump (after the 60 meter dash, girls on Pit 1, boys on pit 2)
