HP Alum Has Rock Climbing Accident

Tuesday, November 13 2012

Attention Highland Park Cross Country and Track & Field Family:
Highland Park Alum Spencer Bean (HP Class of 2009) had a rock climbing accident this past weekend. He fell from about 40 feet high and had major damage to his spine.  The doctors said he is lucky not to have been paralyzed. Spencer has been through several medical challenges the past few years and this is another challenge that he will need the support of his family and friends to get through. Spencer and the wonderful Bean family are incredibly strong and positive, but your thoughts, prayers, and wishes of a speedy recovery are greatly appreciated!

Here is a website that you can go to to follow how he is doing:

The site contains the address to send cards as well as a link to make cards and have them delivered to Spencer.

Spencer is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!   He puts a smile on everybody's face that knows him.   Now is our chance to help him through a tough time and keep his thoughts positive and put a smile on his face.  We are here for you Spencer!
