North Shore Half Marathon
Sunday, June 12 2011At the 2011 North Shore Half Marathon, Highland Park High School Cross Country was well represented.
Coach Mike Sommers finished 17th overall with a time of 1:15:19 in a very competitive race. He finished in 4th place for the males 20-24 age group.
Despite twisting an ankle early in the race recent graduate Ari Rothschild finished in 24th place in 1:17:27 followed closely by junior Emmett Smith in 25th running 1:17:30. Senior Ian Jacobs finished in 48th place with a time of 1:20:26. Senior Ari Feldman ran 1:23:58 to finish in 76th place. These four runners finished in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 9th respectively in the males 1-19 age group.
