Monday, November 29 2010 - Ari RothschildSeveral Highland Park cross country team members ran in the North Shore Turkey Trot that took place in Highland Park. Ari Rothschild won the 10K. He ran a time of 34:38.55 for the 6.2 mile race. Tommy Mills also ran in the race finishing in 39th place with a time of 43:41.28.
In the 5K at the North Shore Turkey Trot, Jonah Hanig came in 2nd place with a time of 17:46.09. Benji Friedman finished in 10th place with a time of 20:18.37 while Liam Carter came in 11th running 20:19.28.

Emmett Smith ran the Chicago Turkey Trot 8K. He finished in 9th place overall with a time of 27:36.6 for 8K. There were 5679 people in the race!

Jason Bernstein (HP Class of 1996) won the Deerfield Turkey Trot 4 Mile with a time of 22:39.4 just .2 ahead of second place. Jason still is one of the toughest guys at the end of a race.

On November 18th, Matt Black (HP Class of 2009) competed in the Eastern Illinois University Turkey Trials. He ran the 3K in 9:17.6.
