Thursday, May 12 2011Dan Krauss (HP Class of 2008), running for Grinnell College, ran the 10,000 meter run at the Dick Young Classic on 4/23/2011. He ran 33:46.44 to finish in 4th place.
Washington University in St. Louis track team member Mike Boughdiri (HP Class of 2009) competed in the 800 meter run at the UAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship. He ran 1:56.87 in the prelims to qualify for the finals. In the finals he finished in 8th place with a time of 2:01.13.
At the Butler University Stan Lyons Invitational Matt Black (HP Class of 2009), of Eastern Illinois University, ran the 1500 meter run in 3:59.48. He finished in 18th place out of 58 runners. Matt also ran the 1500 meter run at the Ohio Valley Conference Track & Field Championships on 5/6/2011. He ran a 4:01.21 to finish in 7th place.
